Max and I are at the Delta working the New Years Eve Gala, and I tried something for the first time - 3 shots put together. Turned out pretty good.

Spider Winter!

My husband Max noticed this coming into the floor door Friday night (a very very cold night!)

It was quite beautiful (it's no longer there). 

We hope our spider friend comes back to visit with his art. 

In memory of Professor John McKendy

John taught me my second year of university - inequality in society.

He was a very kind and caring man.

This is a tragedy that shouldn't have happened.

I know he loved his daughters a great deal.

Rest in peace John.

Hi all, 

 since the wedding is over and we're all moved into our first house, I've decided that I'm going to start making regular photography posts... the original purpose of this blog. I've just recently purchased a new camera... Pentax K20D. Please check back for new photos and join me as I test out what this camera will do.

About time I post about our house

We have been enjoying our new place a great deal. There was so much room at first we didn't know what to do with it, but we are adjusting. :) We decided when we bought the house that the guest room would be the music room. Which is perfect for Kevin & Max when rehearsing. (Kevin & Noelle stayed with us a few nights last week). Most nights I can hear Max practising, and some times he has fans watching (as pictured below) I wanted to do something special for the room to go with the hanging guitars, etc, so I framed 6 of my photos of Max & Kevin's shows.






We also have little guests over from time to time... for quick visits or sleepovers. This pic was before our dining room set was ready (hench why LP's on the floor)

This weekend we had Marcus over for a sleepover, to him the spare fouton was a kingsize bed he joked.

We love having people over !

A brand new chapter...

WOW. Wow. Wow. A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. We have entered a completely new chapter in our lives. We are officially Mr. & Mrs. :) We had the absolute perfect wedding/reception - better than we could have imagined. So many amazing people were involved - THANK YOU

The last few weeks we have been tremendously busy with the wedding set up, preparation, wedding day itself, brunch, wedding tear down etc. We are excited that next Thursday we get our new to us mini home. That is the priority at the moment, packing, moving, paperwork, etc!! More to come ...

Surprise Bridal Shower!

Friday evening, even though I knew something was up, a surprise lingerie bridal shower was thrown for me at the DeVink residence and still surprised me.
It was great fun with the majority of the women in my life. (Mom, Joyce, Lisa, Miche, Nicole, Klara, Cecile, Gi, Chris, Jessi, Peggy, Alice, and Anita).
Of course they got me to dress up like a fool blind folded... (I love the last pic)

Gi's Grad Party

                Gigi graduated from ESA on Saturday

so we were all there, including Marc, Venise & girls. We had a family party afterwards. Finally...

all Guerette kids have graduated... after 27 years.

Mini Me

I think Marcus has been watching my ball games closely over the years.

On Sunday we got together and he tried on his baseball teams catching gear, fresh out of the bag and it looked quite cute on him. He was a natural of course. Here's a couple pics Max took of him while I was pitching to him

Pool opening 2008

Summer is here and the pool is open! Today was the 1st day the Leeuw's got the pool open. 

We joined them and a bunch of their friends for a few hours.

I was shocked last week when I learned the Backstreet Boys were coming to Moncton... Aug 1...

So I'll be leaving Max home for the night and heading on a road trip with Nicole for the show...
