I was shocked last week when I learned the Backstreet Boys were coming to Moncton... Aug 1...

the weekend we get our house!

So I'll be leaving Max home for the night and heading on a road trip with Nicole for the show...

JM went fishing Friday, so we had Chris & LP over for Pizza. Here are some pictures of our evening

Slacking... NEW POST

So I have been told that I have been slacking on the blog... but I would like to say so has the other person... ;) 

I guess it's because there hasn't been real exciting news since the purchase of the house. 

House: Everything is all set to go... now we just wait it out ... until the lawyer does his thing, beginning of July. Now we are just browsing for new furniture, art work, etc. 

Wedding: Plans are coming along... waiting for rsvp's to come in, etc. The majority of the details have been worked out... glad Jessi is back from Tbay to give me a hand with the bridesmaids. 

I'll try to post something more exciting next time. 

Flood watch from the air

Here is a picture from the Guardian in PEI - a great shot of what the Fredericton city looked like yesterday and Thursday. The water that you see along the city and bridge has gone down significantly. However, water remains high down farther where many homes have been destroyed

Fredericton Flood Watch 2008

Over the past week from many parts of Fredericton, the city appears as beautiful as ever. The grass is green, the sky is blue, and the birds are chirping. But in reality... our city and surrounding areas has been under attack by rising waters. Below are a few pictures I have taken down town Fredericton... what you see isn't even the worst... surrounding areas farther down the river, Maugerville, Sheffield have been living a nightmare as their houses and farms are surrounded by deep water both in and outside of their homes.
