celebrating...

My (amazing) husband Max & I are celebrating 5 years together today. Above is a photo I took of him on a grand piano last weekend.

One really neat feature built into my camera (Pentax K20D) is that it's able to duplicate the image to black & white however you have the choice of selecting one of 6 colors to stand out.

In this picture I used Jessy's jeans.

Here's some sample photos from a photo shoot I did today with Jessy Ashfield (a singer/song writer/pianist). Jessy has recently recorded a solo EP and hopes to release it early this year. 

Portraits

A little while before Christmas I had a "first time opportunity" to take pictures with a black back drop of my nephew Louis Pascal and his sweet cousins Gabe, Chloe, and Zach. The kids were great (and I think they had fun).

 This session was hopefully the start of something...
