Fall Times with our nephews

It's been a LONG time since I updated my blog... but here's a couple of my nephews (who are getting so big so quickly) playing in the leaves this fall.

Nephews

As an only child, I was never certain that I would ever become an aunt. Luckily, my husband has two sisters and within the last 3 years I've become an aunt twice to Louis Pascal (a little over 2 & a half) and Jan-Sebastien (3 mths). Here's a few pictures from today (we are very fortunate that we all live in the same city - these pictures only show you a fraction of their cuteness)!

Our new nephew is already changing, he's now a week and a half old, and he's beautiful ! (Thanks Chris & JM for making such beautiful babies to fill my blog)

Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival 2009

This post is also really late coming, but each September, Fredericton hosts the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival - which is always a great success. This was my 2nd year working the festival (lighting) with Signature Sound, a local production company that my husband works for. Luckily, included with the gig is an all access pass to all of the venues. A few shots from the festival ...

Jan-Sebastien

On Thursday, January 7th, our 2nd nephew, Jan-Sebastien arrived ! Christiane & JM welcomed JS around 1am, here's a few pictures of our first meeting with him. He's beautiful, takes after his big brother. Of course, there will be many more pictures to come of both LP & JS, as they are 2 of "tante manda's" favorite little people to photograph.

I came across this shot today - it was taken a couple years ago with my Pentax istDL in Moncton but it's one of my faves. Sophie is one of my cousins, and she is always called "little Amanda" - she is absolutely gorgeous & adorable. Check out those eyes & lips!

Every few months, the Centre communautaire St-Anne brings in a big Quebec act, and I'm lucky enough that my husband is the theatre director - so I am given full access to each event which allows me to not only see great shows, but also to capture them with my camera.
