Spider Winter!

My husband Max noticed this coming into the floor door Friday night (a very very cold night!)

It was quite beautiful (it's no longer there). 

We hope our spider friend comes back to visit with his art. 

In memory of Professor John McKendy

John taught me my second year of university - inequality in society.

He was a very kind and caring man.

This is a tragedy that shouldn't have happened.

I know he loved his daughters a great deal.

Rest in peace John.

Hi all, 

 since the wedding is over and we're all moved into our first house, I've decided that I'm going to start making regular photography posts... the original purpose of this blog. I've just recently purchased a new camera... Pentax K20D. Please check back for new photos and join me as I test out what this camera will do.

About time I post about our house

We have been enjoying our new place a great deal. There was so much room at first we didn't know what to do with it, but we are adjusting. :) We decided when we bought the house that the guest room would be the music room. Which is perfect for Kevin & Max when rehearsing. (Kevin & Noelle stayed with us a few nights last week). Most nights I can hear Max practising, and some times he has fans watching (as pictured below) I wanted to do something special for the room to go with the hanging guitars, etc, so I framed 6 of my photos of Max & Kevin's shows.






We also have little guests over from time to time... for quick visits or sleepovers. This pic was before our dining room set was ready (hench why LP's on the floor)

This weekend we had Marcus over for a sleepover, to him the spare fouton was a kingsize bed he joked.

We love having people over !
